Active citizens in Year 9

Year 9 students are raising money for local charities as part of their active citizenship project.

Each Year 9 PSHCEE group has engaged in advocacy for a chosen local charity and, on Wednesday 12th November in Chaloner Hall, will be hosting a fundraising event. Each group was given a budget of £15 to spend on marketing and resources for a fundraising stall and worked hard throughout last half-term to formulate ideas and prepare their stalls, which range from obstacle challenges (with prizes) to cake stalls.

If students have any spending money to spare, we´d be grateful if they could bring it into school on Wednesday 12th to support Year 9´s chosen local causes.

With our fundraising heroes Charity Day on Friday 14th, we´re looking forward to a fabulous fundraising week in school that will help our students better understand the need to be actively involved in charities and supporting others.
