KJS launches Alumni Association

Did you attend King James´s? Would you like to get back in touch with old friends and find out about alumni events?

Since King James’s School was founded back in 1616, thousands of Knaresborough’s young people have passed through its doors. Now, on the eve of our 400th anniversary, we are keen to make contact with as many of these ex-pupils as possible to share memories and help us celebrate this landmark in the school’s long history.

The King James’s School Alumni Association offers a new way for former pupils, staff and governors to find out about alumni events and catch up with old friends. The Association has its own website that includes a fascinating collection of old photographs, documents, anecdotes and reminiscences. This will be added to over time with more information from both the school’s archives and alumni’s memories.

If you’re a former member of the King James’s School community and would like to join the Alumni Association, click here for more information. The Association is completely free of charge and it’s easy to register online. If you have any questions, you can get in touch with the school’s Alumni Office by emailing

We look forward to hearing from you!
