King James´s students have again enjoyed a year of success in their A levels.
Despite the tougher climate for exams, the school has maintained its average points score at A level and almost half of all results were at grades A* to B. A significant number of students achieved a clean sweep of grade As at A level. With four A* and A grades were Jordan Holgate, who will take up a place at Cambridge to read maths, Robbie Kaiser, Tom Knight, Adam Lovett and Chris Taylor. A further seven students achieved three A* and A grades: Danielle Alexander, Katie Bruce, Lucy Flanagan, Nicholas Honey, Tom Morris, Laura Sadler and Daniel Webster.
´We would like to congratulate our students on their achievements this year,´ said Headteacher Carl Sugden. ´Their success is a reflection of their hard work, the dedication of staff and the support of parents.´
