Catering Assistant (Supply/Relief)

An exciting opportunity to gain experience of supporting our award winning catering service on an ad hoc basis.

Supply/Relief   Term Time Only

£8.50 - £8.55 per hour 

We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated Supply/Relief Catering Assistant(s) to work as required on an ad hoc basis to cover absence. You will gain the valuable experience of supporting the Head Chef in delivering an excellent school catering service, operating to the highest standards of food safety along with customer service.

Working hours are from (8.45am-2.30pm, to include a 15 minute unpaid break with meal allowance). We offer a competitive salary and access to a contributory local pension scheme.

You will be able to undertake cooking of bulk products, receipt of deliveries and stock rotation, basic general kitchen tasks and have basic knowledge and appreciation with regard to the importance of healthy eating. You will be willing to undertake necessary training. e.g. Food Hygiene.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for this physically demanding role. You will have the ability to work within relevant regulations, policies and procedures. e.g. food hygiene rules.
