Drama is a popular extra-curricular activity at King James’s School.
A range of lunchtime drama clubs are run for different age groups:
Each year we stage a main school production and we are extremely proud of the quality of every aspect of the performances - not only the acting, but also the music, sets and backstage support. Recent school productions have included Showtime, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Toad of Toad Hall, Sweeney Todd and Les Miserables. A range of smaller productions also take place during the course of the year, often performed by groups of students working towards a Performing Arts qualification.
The last school production was the Little Shop of Horrors staged 3rd-5th February 2016.
