King James' School

ePortal is a powerful web-based interface that allows parents to look at contact details, attendance and behaviour data, along with assessments and learning cycle reports. Access to ePortal is through secure, password-protected entry.

You will be issued with a user name and password when your child starts at King James’s. Please note that at present we only issue passwords to each student’s first named contact. However, if you would like a second parental account, please contact the school’s Information Manager, Katy Foster.

To gain access to ePortal, click on the ePortal button below or on the home page of this website. You will be asked to log in. Enter your user name and password in the appropriate boxes (case sensitive).

You will then have access to your child’s home page. If you have more than one child at King James’s, use the named tabs at the top left of the page to view information about each child.

You can use ePortal to look at:

  • student details - if anything here is incorrect, please inform your child’s Head of Year as soon as possible
  • reports - learning cycle reports for your child
  • exclusions - details of any exclusions given
  • timetable - lessons and teachers timetabled for that day (click ‘More’ to see the timetable for the week)
  • attendance - percentages of student attendance, lates and absence (click ‘More’ to see the details behind each absence)
  • student events - any behavioural incidents that have occurred in school and been registered by staff
  • SAT results - attained at the end of Key Stages 1 to 3.

Forgotten your password?

Unfortunately we cannot issue new passwords over the phone. If you forget your password, you will have to come to school (with ID) to obtain a new password.
