Drama is a popular extra-curricular activity at King James’s School. A range of lunchtime drama clubs are run for our different age groups.
Each year we stage a main school production and we are extremely proud of the quality of every aspect of the performances – not only the acting, but also the music, sets and backstage support. Recent school productions have included Chicago and Legally Blonde. A range of smaller productions also take place during the course of the year, often performed by groups of students working towards a Performing Arts qualification.
We are pleased to announce the school production for this year is “We Will Rock You”. We are keen for as many students as possible to get involved and the school will host auditions to choose the cast.
If you would like to attend an audition they will be scheduled as follows:
Tuesday 10th September – Years 7, 8 and 9
Thursday 12th September – Years 10, 11, 12 and 13
Auditions will be held in S1, start at 3:15, and finish at 5 pm.
Please download the audition pack below, which should provide everything you need. If you have further questions, please see Mr Gordon, Ms Jones or Mrs Woodfine.
